School Psychologist (Jr./Sr. High School)

Schodack Central School District is seeking a School Psychologist for Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School (grades 7-12).

  • Start Date: September 2024
  • Full-time position (10-month school year)
  • New York State School Psychologist certification is required

Instructional Positions

Unless specified otherwise, teaching positions should be applied for by using the On-Line Application System for Educators (OLAS).

Teaching Assistants (4 Hours Per Day)

Schodack Central School District is currently seeking Teaching Assistants. Multiple positions are available for 4 hours per day.

Starting salary rate is dependent on certification:

  • $20.25/hour start rate for certified Teaching Assistants
  • $16.20/hour start rate for uncertified Teaching Assistants

Certification is not required to apply for or start the position but candidates must be willing and able to obtain a Level 1 New York State Teaching Assistant Certification to remain in the position. See a full teaching assistant job description here.

Substitute Teachers

Teacher certification is not required, although preferred. An Instructional Substitute Application is available here.

  • Certified Teacher Pay Rate: $120/Day
  • Non-Certified Teacher Pay Rate: $110/Day
  • Retired Teacher Pay Rate: $130/Day
Substitute Teaching Assistants & Aides
Substitute TAs work with teachers or at the direction of the school principal. Shifts are 4-hour or full-day, depending on need. High School diploma is required. An Instructional Substitute Application is available here.
  • Classroom Personnel Pay Rate: $15.00/Hour
Substitute Bus Drivers

You must have a clean driving record, training provided to qualified applicants. A Non-Instructional Application is available here to apply.

  • School Bus Driver Pay Rate: $22.50/Hour
Substitute Custodial Staff

Cleaning experience is preferred but not required. A Non-Instructional Application is available here to apply.

  • Custodial Staff Pay Rate: $15.00/Hour
Substitute Nurses

  • Registered Nurse Pay Rate: $22.50/Hour
  • Licensed LPN Pay Rate: $18.34/Hour
