One of Schodack Central School District’s most popular school community events – Hoops Against Hunger – returns on Friday, March 8, 2024! It will start at 7:00 PM in the Maple Hill Gym. Admittance is $3 per person OR $2 if you bring a **canned/non-perishable food item.** Proceeds and food donations benefit The Anchor Food Pantry in Castleton.

Hoops Against Hunger is a charity basketball game where two teams of Schodack CSD faculty and staff face off. Scroll down to see who’s participating in the 2024 Hoops Against Hunger game!

This very fun event is always a huge success, with many members of the community showing up to watch their favorite teachers, administrators and other staff play. There will be concessions for sale, a 50/50 raffle and halftime games for all ages (with prizes!).

**The Anchor is in most need of cereal, toilet paper, shampoo and peanut butter & jelly.

Who’s Playing in Hoops Against Hunger?

At this time there is no more need for concession stand food/drink donations, but monetary donations to help offset costs or to benefit the Anchor Pantry are still being accepted.
