Schodack CSD Families,

During this past week and through next week, students are participating in brief BIMAS (Behavior Intervention Monitoring Assessment System) sessions. BIMAS is a tool to help us better understand the behavioral and social/emotional needs of all our students, allowing for the development of more effective school, classroom and individual intervention plans.

On Tuesday, January 16, you should receive an email from BIMAS with a link to a survey for you to complete about your students. If you have multiple students enrolled in Schodack, you will receive one email per student. You will have access to the survey through Friday, January 19.

We appreciate your feedback and time to complete this survey and provide us with valuable information to best support your student in school. If you do not receive the email containing the link or you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us using the information below.

If your student is eligible to receive any services or additional support, you will be notified. BIMAS results are not intended for diagnostic purposes or special education classification. A reminder that if you opted your students out of participating in BIMAS this past fall, they have not been participating in the current sessions nor should you receive a link to complete the survey.
