Dear Schodack CSD Community,
As some of you may already know, our district’s Director of Student Services, Jacqueline Hill, is currently on leave and will be out for the next several months. We expect Ms. Hill to return to work in February.
During her leave, we have appointed an interim Director of Student Services, John Penman, to manage her responsibilities. A retired long-time school administrator, Mr. Penman joins us for the next few months with many years of professional experience supporting student and school family needs. While Ms. Hill is out, Mr. Penman will be responsible for the administration of all pupil personnel services including the special education program, health services, counseling programs, student support services and social-emotional learning.
