The March 2023 Monthly Assemblies at Castleton Elementary School were all about Wellness! For this month’s assemblies, the Wellness Committee led the activities with grades K-3 making healthy snacks using apples and grades 4-6 participating in a Chopped Challenge. Student teams were given either apples or tomatoes and then got to select ingredients from the “pantry” to create a dish. Castleton Elementary faculty/staff were the judges and selected winners from each category.
Plus, during the kindergarten assembly, there was a special Alphabet Fashion Show to showcase how the students have been working hard to become super readers all year!
