Please see these important final reminders about Grandparents Day at CES tomorrow (Thursday, April 6). I ask that you also share this information with any grandparents or special guests who will be attending the event.
- The event will run from 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM in your student’s classroom. If you have more than one grandchild at CES, you are welcome to visit all their classrooms during this time. Students cannot travel with you from room to room if that is the case, they need to stay in their assigned classrooms.
- Enter through the Main Office, located on Campbell Ave. Please do not bring any other children with you as we want your experience to be shared with your grandchild who attends CES.
- Parking can be challenging at Castleton Elementary School. Please do not park in our Bus Loop out front or our Parent Drop Off Loop out back.
- We will not be dismissing students from their classrooms at 2:00 PM to leave with their grandparents. If you are taking your grandchild home after school, please plan to do so from the parent pick-up loop outside at the end of the school day at 2:25 PM. If you are picking your grandchild up, the main office must be notified by a parent/guardian earlier in the day through a note/email. That email can be sent by a parent/guardian to CES-Attendance@schodack.k12.ny.us.
