Despite the nuisance of potential snow, on March 3, 2023, the Schodack school community came together to raise $3,870.54 for the Anchor Food Pantry in Castleton at the district’s first Hoops Against Hunger event since before the pandemic! Additionally, approximately 20+ boxes of canned goods and non-perishable food items were gathered and donated to the Anchor.
As you’ll see in the pictures, so many community members donated, helped out and showed up to watch a very fun basketball game between Schodack faculty/staff. The night would not have been possible without all of their support! Thank you* to everyone who helped make the return of Hoops Against Hunger so successful and for continuing to go above and beyond in helping one another. Until next year when Hoops Against Hunger returns again!
