Castleton Elementary School Families,

PikMyKid has reached out to let us know that some CES families are still using their soon-to-be discontinued old phone app to change/update student dismissal information. If you still have the old version of the app on your phone, it will no longer be functional as of April 1, 2023.

To ensure a smooth transition for any CES families still using the old PikMyKid app, please make sure you have the latest version of the app downloaded to your phone before April 1. It is available in the Apple App Store here and the Google Play Store here. The current version of the app was released in 2021 and many families may already have it downloaded, if you do it will say so in your phone’s app store.

Your PikMyKid username and password will remain the same as before in the new version of the app. If you need help setting up the new app, see this flyer from PikMyKid here.

PikMyKid Is Not Used for Attendance

As with the old app, CES does not use the PikMyKid app to check for student attendance changes. Please send all attendance changes (if your student will be absent, arriving late or leaving early) to the CES attendance email address (CES-Attendance@schodack.k12.ny.us).

PikMyKid is only used to change/update student dismissal information, such as delegating who is allowed to pick up your student and if there will be a change in their normal dismissal procedure (ex. you plan to pick them up but they normally take the bus home). More about how CES uses PikMyKid is available here.
