Students Jack McCarthy, William Reutzel and Garrett Jensen joined Music Teacher Adam Streeter on Dec. 8 for New York State’s Holiday Tree Lighting in Albany where they took part in the annual Tuba Christmas.
“In total, the group was made up of about 40 baritone, euphonium, tuba, helicon, and sousaphone players,” said Mr. Streeter. “Performance conditions were cold (34 degrees) with gusty winds, but the group made some beautiful warm sound to keep the crowd listening throughout till our Jingle Bells encore. Jack and William were the youngest players in this year’s group!”
