Fourth graders raised $1,021 for UNICEF in October as part of a class project that allowed students to help a great cause and practice math skills.
“It was great to see students studying coins with a hands lens, skip counting, adding, multiplying and utilizing their math skills in a meaningful way,” said Teacher Christine Chrasky. “Caring hearts and great math skills rule in 4th grade at CES!”
