Congratulations to senior Nicholas Janowski who has been named a 2019 Heisman High School Scholarship Winner.
The award recognizes outstanding community-minded scholar-athletes who set an example by being a leader in their school and in their community.
Nicholas has served the community through work such as helping the Key Club raise money for Bells of Life, which supports the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and volunteering at The Anchor.
He also helped the school community with his work with the Maple Hill Milers Club to prepare young students for a 5K race and he is active with the school newspaper, jazz band and is a member of the National Honor Society.
