A brief message before the weekend with one announcement and two reminders.
Next Principal of Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School
At their meeting last night, the Schodack Board of Education appointed Robert Santarcangelo as the next Principal of Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School, effective July 1, 2023.
Mr. Santarcangelo was selected as the successful candidate by a panel of district administrators, Maple Hill faculty/staff, Maple Hill students and Maple Hill parents. While he does not start as principal for a few more weeks he has already spent a whole day at Maple Hill, touring the building and meeting many of the school’s teachers, staff and students. We are very happy to have Mr. Santarcangelo joining us in Schodack and we will introduce families to him further very soon. Until Mr. Santarcangelo starts, Interim Maple Hill Principal Alyssa Sabbatino will continue leading Maple Hill through the end of this current school year.
2022-23 End-of-Year Check-In
If you have not already, a reminder to please participate in our 2022-23 End-of-Year Check-In no later than June 19. Based on your experiences this year, tell us the areas you feel should be more prioritized next year in the 2023-24 School Year. Additionally, this is a chance to let district administration know what you feel went well in your school(s) this year and what you feel could be improved upon next year. District Closed on Monday, June 19
Finally, a reminder that Schodack Central School District will be closed Monday (June 19) for Juneteenth.
