The Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School Mental Health & Wellness Committee congratulates and thanks all the Maple Hill school community members (and their pets!) who participated in the 2nd Annual Wildcat Wellness Virtual 5k Run/Walk over the recent spring recess.

The virtual 5k in recognition of National Walking Day was open to all Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School students, faculty and staff. The National Walking Day campaign is held annually on the first Wednesday of April in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of physical activity.

The Maple Hill Mental Health & Wellness Committee will now donate the money from registration costs to the American Heart Association. By making this donation to the AHA and committing to wellness, Schodack CSD prides itself in being part of the fight against our nation’s number one and number 5 leading causes of death which are heart disease and stroke, respectively.
