Dear Schodack Families,
Per Governor Hochul’s guidance, we are planning to send all students home with rapid COVID-19 antigen test kits on Thursday, February 17, with the hope that families will use them to test students before they return from Winter Recess on Monday, February 28.
If you do not want your student to bring home a test kit, please call your school’s main office before the end of the school day on Thursday to let us know.
Each test kit contains two tests and the governor has stated her intention is for families to use one test on Sunday (February 27) before students return to school, then use the other three days later on Wednesday (March 2).
If your student tests positive, please keep them home from school and report the positive test result using the district’s COVID-19 Test Result Self Report form here.
