Congratulations to the Maple Hill students selected as the Students of the Quarter for the 4th Quarter of 2025–26! Students are listed/pictured below, along with a short write-up by the Maple Hill faculty member(s) who nominated them. Each quarter, one student from each Maple Hill grade level is selected for this award by a faculty committee after reviewing all submitted nominations.
7th Grade: Jack Christiansen
Despite only being in 7th grade, Jack is a strong leader in the band program. In a section of 10 students, he helps ensure that his peers remain focused and attentive. He attends lessons regularly, demonstrates a strong desire to learn, and continues to grow as a musician. Jack is eager to get to work as soon as he walks through the door and consistently greets others with a positive attitude.

8th Grade: Isabella Michel
Isabella is a motivated young woman who continually asks questions until she has a clear understanding of what is expected. She is kind, conscientious, and takes her responsibilities seriously. She consistently ensures that any missing work is completed promptly and to the best of her ability.

9th Grade: Alexis Stollsteimer
All year, Lexi has remained on top of her academics. She is highly motivated to do well and takes personal responsibility for her success. Lexi consistently comes to class prepared, actively participates in lessons, and regularly uses advisory time to have her homework checked and ensure she is staying on track.

10th Grade: Lorca Nisbet
Lorca consistently demonstrates what it means to be an outstanding member of our school community. Lorca’s strong work ethic, perseverance, and commitment to learning set a positive example for her peers.
Beyond her academic dedication, she is kind, respectful, and welcoming to everyone around her. Lorca treats classmates and teachers with compassion and encourages others through her positive attitude. No matter the challenge, she remains optimistic and approaches each day with a smile.
Lorca’s hard work, kindness, and positivity make her truly deserving of this recognition.

11th Grade: Faiel Glasheen-Haase
Faiel is a natural leader among her classmates and consistently brings a positive attitude to class. She is always willing to try new things and works hard regardless of the activity we are doing in physical education. Faiel gives her best effort in everything she does and serves as a positive role model for her peers. Great job, Faiel!

12th Grade: Skylar Macyowskie
Skylar is an exemplary student who consistently demonstrates critical thinking, diligence, discipline, and intellectual curiosity. She approaches challenges with maturity and determination, always striving to do her best.
Beyond the classroom, Skylar is an active member of her community. She recently helped organize and perform at a benefit concert supporting an NHS project and is also an enthusiastic participant in the school’s book club.
In AP Literature, Skylar has gone above and beyond by attending additional sessions to strengthen her senior research paper. Her dedication, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence make her highly deserving of recognition as Student of the Quarter.
