Kindergarten–Grade 3 Field Day (Tuesday, June 16)

Due to the high temperatures forecasted for Friday, June 12, we are rescheduling Kindergarten–Grade 3 Field Day. It is rescheduled for Tuesday, June 16, at the CES Field. Families are welcome to attend and may go directly to the CES Field upon arrival.

  • 10:45 AM–12:00 PM: Field Day Events
  • 12:00 PM–12:15 PM: Handwashing & Bathroom Break
  • 12:15 PM–12:45 PM: Picnic Style Lunch Outside
    • Families may stay for this, but must bring their own lunch. Students may bring their own lunch or have a school-provided lunch.

Please do not arrive before 10:40 AM. The Class of 2026 Senior Walkthrough starts at 10:00 AM at CES on the same day, and we want to ensure enough parking for all the attendees of both events.

Castleton Elementary School’s Flag Day Ceremony, K–Grade 3 Field Day and Grades 4–6 Field Day are coming up! See schedules and information below.

Flag Day Ceremony (Friday, June 12)

The annual Castleton Elementary School K–6 Flag Day Ceremony is Friday, June 12, 2026. All K–6 families are invited to join us at the CES Flag Pole for this ceremony, which starts at 8:30 AM.

Preparing for Field Days

  • Dress students for extended outdoor activities in the sun. Send them in with hats, sneakers, water bottles and apply sunscreen before school.
  • Some activities involve water; send a labeled change of clothes if you feel your students will need them.
  • Students are encouraged to wear their grade-level’s colored assembly shirts.
  • Families are welcome to attend; however, for safety reasons, children not enrolled at CES may not participate in the events.

Kindergarten–Grade 3 Field Day (Friday, June 12)

Kindergarten–Grade 3 Field Day is also on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Castleton Elementary School Field. Families are welcome to attend and may go directly to the CES Field upon arrival or after the CES Flag Day Ceremony.

  • 11:15 AM–11:45 AM: Handwashing & Bathroom Break
  • 11:45 AM–12:30 PM: Picnic Style Lunch Outside

Grades 4–6 Field Day (Wednesday, June 17)

Grades 4–6 Field Day is Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School Track & Field (1216 Maple Hill Rd). Families are welcome to attend and may go directly to the MH Track & Field upon arrival.

Please do not park behind Maple Hill; please park in the main front parking lot.
