Update: Wednesday, April 29
Schodack Grades 3–8 Families,
Today (Wednesday, April 29), your students were scheduled to participate in the second day of the New York State Grades 3–8 ELA Assessments. The NYS Grades 3–8 Assessments are all computer-based, and this morning, multiple students could not log into the online platform to take them. This was not isolated to Schodack, and multiple school districts across the state dealt with the same issue.
While only a handful of Maple Hill students could not log in, almost none of our CES students could log in. All Maple Hill students who could log in this morning completed their assessments, but no CES students completed their assessments today.
Because of this, we are rescheduling the second day of ELA Assessments for the students who could not log in today. The revised schedule for the remaining assessments is below:
Revised 2026 State Assessments Schedule
- Grades 3–6 ELA: Thursday, April 30
- Grades 7–8 ELA: Friday, May 1
- Grades 3–8 Mathematics: Tuesday, May 5 and Wednesday, May 6
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your school’s main office.
