UPDATE (October 6, 2025): Due to New York State’s burn ban in effect through October 15, the Maple Hill Bonfire scheduled for Thursday, October 9, is canceled. This update was sent to all Maple Hill grades 9–12 families through ParentSquare by Maple Hill Principal Robert Santarcangelo.

Information and schedules are below for Maple Hill’s Fall 2025 Spirit Week, Homecoming and Fall Sports Weekend.

Homecoming Events for Sr. High School Students

The following events are for grades 9–12 students only.

  • Maple Hill Bonfire (Thursday, October 9, at 6:30 PM by the Maple Hill Softball Field)
    • The Maple Hill Bonfire is CANCELED. Please see the update above.
  • Pep Rally at School (Friday, October 10, during the school day)
  • Homecoming Dance (Saturday, October 11, from 7:00 PM–10:00 PM in the Maple Hill Gym)
    • $15 at the door
    • Dinner is included with admission; additional snacks will be available for purchase
    • Students bringing a guest from another school must fill out a Guest Authorization Form and return it to Mrs. Kerner by Wednesday, October 8. Forms can be picked up in the Maple Hill Main Office.

Volunteers/Donations for Concessions

Please consider helping out Maple Hill’s Booster Club on October 10–11 by signing up online to volunteer at the concession stand for a bit or to donate concession items.

Concession money raised benefits all Maple Hill Athletics Programs. Any Schodack CSD community member may volunteer/donate; you do not need to have a student who plays sports. Email the Booster Club if you have any questions (mhboosterclub@gmail.com).

Maple Hill Spirit Week Themes

All grades 7–12 students may participate in the daily Spirit Week themes between October 6–10, 2025. All outfits must be appropriate for school.

Share Spirit Week pictures with us for posting on the district’s social media by emailing them to communications@schodack.k12.ny.us – send full-size or large images if your phone gives you a choice.

    • Wear your red, white & blue or Maple Hill gear and accessorize with your class color (see list above)
