The final Castleton Elementary Monthly Assembly of the year and the annual Children with Hair Loss Haircutting Drive are this Friday, June 27, 2025, in the CES Large Gym at 8:20 AM. This event is for kindergarten – 6th-grade students and CES families are welcome to attend.
Participating in the Annual Haircutting Drive
There’s still time to sign up for the annual CES Haircutting Drive benefiting Children With Hair Loss, a not-for-profit organization that provides free wigs and hair maintenance for children up to age 21 who suffer from hair loss.
If you or your student is interested in participating, please reach out to Stacy Herron ASAP by email (SHerron@schodack.k12.ny.us) or phone (518-732-7755 ext. 3230). Anybody may participate (students, parents and community members) if they have a minimum of 8-10” of hair to donate.

Arrival and Exit Procedures for Monthly Assemblies
Family members attending are asked to please follow the arrival and exit procedures for Monthly Assemblies.
- Enter using either of the CES Large Gym exterior doors on the Campbell Ave and Ransom Ave sides of the building. Attendees must stay in the Large Gym during the event and exit through these same doors when it ends.
- Do not arrive at the CES Main Entrance for Monthly Assemblies, please go directly to the Large Gym exterior doors.
