Maple Hill Community,
I am checking in to clear up any confusion about a particular topic that has come to my attention this week. As you know, Schodack has a longstanding tradition of holding multiple athletic tournaments at Maple Hill throughout the school year.
Over the past few days, I have received questions from community members and school families about whether the district is planning on reducing the number of athletic tournaments it holds annually. I assure you that this is not the case. Going forward, the district will continue holding all of the same Maple Hill athletic tournaments it has held in the past.
These tournaments have always been wonderful opportunities to bring together neighboring school districts’ student-athletes with ours, and Schodack has no plans to take away those opportunities.
