Residents of the Schodack Central School District voted to approve a $29,473,860 proposed budget for the 2025-26 School Year by a vote of 401 (YES) to 143 (NO).

This budget represents a $780,334 increase from the 2024-25 School Year. The estimated tax levy increase for the 2025-26 Budget is 0.45%, which meets the allowable tax levy limit set by New York State.

Residents approved the use of Capital Reserve Funds to replace and install an electric transformer at the District Office Building by a vote of 430 (YES) to 111 (NO). The district has this money in its Capital Reserve Fund but requires voter approval to use it for these purposes.

Additionally, residents approved the purchase of three additional school buses by a vote of 409 (YES) to 134 (NO).

Residents also elected Melissa Boles, Angela Beber and Marion Spar to three seats on the Schodack Board of Education. Each seat is for a 3-year term (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2028).
