Next week (April 21-April 25) the following emergency safety drills are planned for our schools:

  • Castleton Elementary School: One evacuation/fire drill
  • Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School: Two evacuation/fire drills (rescheduled from the week of April 7-11)

Other than this general information, dates and times of the drills will not be announced in advance so we can assess how prepared everyone is in the event of a real emergency. As a reminder, the NYS Education Department now requires school districts to notify families within one week before a safety drill occurs.
