Congratulations to the Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School students selected as the Students of the Quarter for the 3rd Quarter of the 2024-2025 School Year! Students are listed/pictured below, along with a short write-up by the Maple Hill faculty/staff member(s) who nominated them.

A faculty committee reviews all the submitted nominations and selects one student in each Maple Hill grade level (7-12) for this award each quarter.

7th Grade: Alexandra Haught

Allie is a thoughtful, kind and caring student. She consistently shows interest in class, works hard, and is always willing to share her ideas. Her classwork reflects a genuine desire to make the world a better place, and she is not afraid to grapple with complex ideas about how to achieve that goal.

8th Grade: Sabrina Simmons

Sabrina is a thoughtful and insightful contributor to class discussions, always prepared and eager to engage with the material. Her work reflects a deep understanding of challenging concepts and is consistently well done. Beyond the classroom, Sabrina’s kindness, friendly demeanor, and ever-present smile make her a valued friend and classmate. She is an avid reader and a proud member of the track team.

9th Grade: Kahlen Haught

Kahlen is a quiet, hardworking student who consistently excels in the classroom. She is studious, polite, and always puts forth her best effort. Outside class, Kahlen stays involved through the Guitar Club and plays drums for an Irish pipe band. She’s a well-rounded and dedicated student.

10th Grade: Olivia Mueller

Olivia is an exceptional AP World History student with one of the highest test averages. She is known for her curiosity, strong writing, and insightful contributions, often completing extra essays to prepare for the AP exam. A dedicated student-athlete and team captain, she leads with positivity and selflessness on the volleyball and softball teams. Despite her busy schedule, she consistently attends review sessions and exemplifies work ethic, leadership, and kindness, making her a deserving Student of the Quarter.

11th Grade: Isaac Naples

Isaac is a mature, hardworking student with a consistently positive attitude. He is thoughtful, reflective, and excels in class discussions, often taking academic risks that deepen learning for himself and others. Isaac presents his ideas with confidence and is truly a joy to have in class.

Fiona is hardworking, mature, and reflective, with a strong sense of global awareness. She consistently gives back to the community and approaches her work with purpose and integrity. Her character and dedication set a strong example for others.
