After being postponed from its original date (February 6) due to the weather, the Castleton Elementary PTO’s STEM Fair is rescheduled for Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM at CES! All original registrations remain valid and students do not need to re-register. However, the PTO will accept new registrations through Friday, March 21!

The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Fair is a chance for any K-6 students to make and share a project with the school community! Families and friends are welcome to work together on projects. Projects can range from posters to hands-on experiments or demonstrations – get creative! This is not a competitive event, but an opportunity to explore, learn and have fun. There will not be judges and projects will not be graded or awarded. However, all participating students will be entered into a drawing for some amazing door prizes!

Even if you and your student do not plan on participating, you are still invited to attend and see all the great projects on display!

Registering for the STEM Fair

If you registered for the originally scheduled event in February, you do not need to re-register. For new registrations, see below:

New STEM Fair Registrations

New registrations are due by Friday, March 21. To register a new project, please email the PTO (thecespto@gmail.com) with the following information:

  • Student’s name (please include all names if students are working together)
  • Teacher and grade level
  • Brief description of the project (please indicate if there will be any liquids involved)
  • Any unique needs for the project display such as a table next to a wall or being near an electrical outlet (you must bring your own extension cord if needed). If you think your project display has a unique need, please include it in your email just in case!
