The district will conduct its annual Early Release Drill on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. This is a New York State requirement to ensure districts are prepared to send students home before the normal dismissal time in an emergency. All Maple Hill and Castleton Elementary students will be dismissed 15 minutes early on November 26, so please plan accordingly.
Thanksgiving Recess starts the day after the drill and runs from November 27-December 1. The district will be closed on November 28-29. Classes will resume on Monday, December 2.
Parent Pick Up & Bus Dismissal Times for Nov. 26
Castleton Elementary: 2:10 PM
Maple Hill: 1:45 PM
There will be no late buses on November 26.
After-School Care
The YMCA will be providing after-school care on November 26. Transportation to after-school care will be provided as usual for those CES students.
