Dear Schodack CSD Families,

This is a brief message to let you know that if your students participated in BIMAS (Behavior Intervention Monitoring Assessment System) screening over the winter, they will be receiving a follow-up assessment in the spring portion of this process. These follow-ups will take place during the following date ranges.

Castleton Elementary: May 8-May 25

Maple Hill: May 15-May 19

We are always looking for ways to best support our students and their families and are committed to using data to make decisions about how to best meet their needs. BIMAS is a screening tool to help us identify students whose behavior may impact their success in school and determine if they need additional assistance to help them socially and emotionally. If your student is eligible to receive any services or additional support, you will be notified. The results of the screening are not intended for diagnostic purposes or special education classification.
