The entire school community is invited to the Strawberry Festival from 4:15 PM – 8:00 PM at Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School!  While there, make sure to stop into the Maple Hill Gym to vote on the 2023-2024 Budget and the 2023 Board Candidates – more information about both is here.

The PTO will be selling food, drinks, baked goods and sugared strawberries over vanilla ice cream. Food will be served in the Maple Hill Cafeteria where there is plenty of space to sit and eat. There will also be a Bounce House and the 9th graders will be running carnival games outside. Families will also get to see student work on display in the gym while voting on our school budget. This event is free and open to the entire Schodack CSD community.

All food sale/bounce house proceeds will go to the 4th-grade class for their 5th-grade field trip. All game proceeds will go to the 9th-grade class for their class trip.

Volunteering at Strawberry Festival

The Strawberry Festival is traditionally put on by 4th-grade families since proceeds go towards the 5th-grade class trip the following year. Participation from many 4th-grade families makes a big difference in offsetting the cost of the trip!

If interested in volunteering to help out at the event, please sign up for one or more time slots below.

Beverage and Baked Goods Donations

Even if you cannot volunteer at the event you can still help by providing beverage donations or baked goods. Each 4th-grade family is asked to please make one beverage item donation. More about this is available in the letter here
