Grade 6 Visit to Maple Hill

On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, all Castleton Elementary 6th-grade students will visit Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School for a student orientation program. Students will travel to the Jr./Sr. High School via school transportation, and will leave CES at approximately 10:45 AM.

Students will receive an introduction to what to expect in 7th grade, including how the daily schedule works, what classes they will take, and extracurricular opportunities. During their visit, students will have the opportunity to eat lunch in the Jr./Sr. High School cafeteria. Just like at CES, they can bring their lunch or purchase one in the cafeteria. Please note, that there are snacks for purchase – students will need money on their account or in-hand to purchase these items.

When the program is finished, students will be dismissed from the Jr. / Sr. High School. Students who ride the bus will board buses and be delivered home or have the option to stay on the bus and be delivered home with the CES bus run. Students who are walkers or picked up will ride the bus to CES and be dismissed through the parent pick-up line at CES.
