This is a brief message to clarify why there were some emergency response vehicles at the Schodack District Office this afternoon. At approximately 2:15 PM, concerns about an electrical issue made it necessary to evacuate the building so members of the fire department and police department could investigate it further. While the issue was being investigated a bus was brought over so the students in after school care did not need to wait outside in the cold. The fire and police departments determined there was no further safety concern and staff and students were cleared to reenter the building.
