What is Read for Ronald McDonald House?
Read for RMHC is a reading-based community service program where participating elementary school students ask family/friends to sponsor the minutes they spend reading. All donations sponsoring Castleton Elementary student reading time during March will support the RMHC-CR. The program empowers CES students to develop lifelong reading skills while supporting the families served by RMHC-CR. Students who read and earn donations can also receive a Read for RMHC participation certificate and Read for RMHC prizes.

PICTURES: Reading Chain Kicks Off Read for RMHC!
Every year to kick off Read for RMHC, CES has a school-wide Reading Chain around the building. Principal Derby recites the CES Reading Oath over the school PA and then invites all teachers and students to come together out in the halls to read for a bit.
