As you may already know if you have seen the forecast, we will be experiencing very cold weather tomorrow (Friday, February 3) with well below freezing temperatures and a high wind chill factor. Given tomorrow’s forecast, there will be no outdoor activities during or after school for students.
Before your students leave for school tomorrow morning, we ask that you please make sure they have dressed appropriately for the cold weather, especially if they will be waiting for the school bus. This means warm jackets, gloves/mittens, hats, boots and scarves.
Many Maple Hill students likely choose their own outfits for the school day, but please check with them to ensure they are dressed/plan to dress appropriately for tomorrow’s weather. For our Castleton Elementary students, it may be a good idea to pack extra hats, gloves/mittens and socks on the chance they lose these items or get them wet.
