Dear Schodack Families,
Yesterday some of our students called an entertainment/novelty company’s (Creepy Company) 877 hotline number which gives you the option of hearing different scary stories. It would appear that some students after hearing these stories told them to other students. This eventually morphed into rumors of students saying there would be a threat in our schools today.
Some families reached out to us that their students were telling them about this possible threat at our schools today. As with all claims like this, we acted quickly to investigate and after looking into the matter further have determined that there is absolutely no credibility to this. This unsubstantiated claim stemmed from students calling Creepy Company’s 877 hotline for fun yesterday.
