A quick update on the status of June 1 Regents Exams and a reminder about the upcoming extended Memorial Day Weekend.
June 1 Regents in US History & Government (Framework) Canceled
This morning school districts received word from the New York State Education Department (NYSED) that the Regents Examination in United States History and Government (Framework) originally scheduled for Wednesday, June 1, has been canceled. You can read more about NYSED’s decision in their memo sent to school districts.
This only applies to the United States History and Government (Framework) exam, all other June Regents Exams will take place as scheduled.
No School Friday, May 27 – Tuesday, May 31
A reminder that since we did not use all of our emergency closing days this year, there will be no school on Friday, May 27 and Tuesday, May 31. District offices will be open on these dates but will be closed Monday, May 30 for Memorial Day. Classes will resume on Wednesday, June 1.
