In the district’s ongoing effort to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all students in Schodack schools, some building protocols from 2020-2021 will carry over into 2021-2022. One of these is that incoming grade 7-12 students will not be assigned a locker for the 2021-2022 school year.
This measure was effective in reducing crowding and congestion in Maple Hill hallways last year, so we have decided to keep it in place for the entirety of the coming school year. All Maple Hill students will be allowed to bring their backpacks with them from class to class throughout the school day.
