A quick update for Schodack families about student learning devices (such as Chromebooks, laptops, etc.): All these devices will be district-provided in the 2021-2022 school year and students will not be permitted to use their own personal learning devices this year.
In 2020-2021 there was a national shortage of these devices due to an overwhelming demand for them from school districts across the country. Because of this, we requested some families use their personal devices when possible. For 2021-2022, the district has acquired enough devices to provide all students with one for the length of the school year.
