The Schodack Central School District is aware of the letter that Dr. Zucker sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding new COVID-19 guidance for the wearing of masks in schools and at camps. This has already been publicized in various media outlets online and on the news.
At this time, we have not received any guidance from the New York State Department of Health or the State Education Department. The District’s current plan related to wearing masks in school will remain in place, and we will not be making any changes over the weekend. Any changes to the plan will be communicated as soon as possible.
