Maple Hill High School senior, Skyler Misiaszek, completed her Girl Scout Gold Award Project “Pit Stop” recently.
As part of the project, Skyler researched, planned, conducted fundraisers, and acquired and constructed a set of bleachers for the High School track & field area.
“I chose this project because there are no dedicated bleachers for the track area at Maple Hill High School and my passion is the sport of running,” Skyler said, noting that the project addresses the need for safe seating for spectators to watch organized athletic events.
