Thank you to the Kiwanis Club for donating recess equipment to every classroom at Castleton Elementary School!
“The counseling team, together with Principal Derby and Assistant Principal Rosher, were trying to brainstorm creative ways our students could enjoy recess, even with COVID restrictions,” school social worker Jen Sober said. “We came up with the idea of getting a set of equipment for each cohort so they could safely enjoy activities in their small recess groups.”
The bags include playground balls, chalk and jump ropes. Grade 6 students also have footballs and soccer balls. The donation is valued at approximately $500.
