The Schodack Central School District is committed to providing the best education possible while placing a high priority on the health and safety of our students and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

While we worked hard on developing reopening plans for the start of the school year, we continue to evaluate them and make revisions as necessary.

Administrators have been reviewing the current 4-6 model and will be making changes to create a better school experience for all involved. We have begun discussing options for bringing all of our grades 4-6 students into school five days per week. Please note that change takes time, as many aspects of our operations will be affected, including transportation, scheduling, food service, and repurposing building space to ensure we are meeting all state and local safety guidelines.

Stay tuned for more communications from the District on this matter in the coming weeks.
