Parents/Guardians,
During our first two weeks of school, we have received many new transportation requests. While we have been able to accommodate many of these requests, some of our buses are now at capacity as we continue to follow social distancing and health and safety guidelines set by New York State. These new regulations have students sitting one to a seat with two students in a seat if they are siblings.
Our transportation department worked hard during the summer months to create bus routes which were dependent upon information received from parent/guardian responses to our surveys about student needs. Based on that information, routes were developed using the new health and safety guidelines. We will continue to field new transportation requests and make decisions on a case-by-case basis. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate them right away.
