On Friday, August 7, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced that all school districts in New York State are authorized to reopen this fall. At this time, all regions in the State are below the threshold of positive COVID-19 cases that was previously established by the Governor’s Office.

The Schodack Central School District will move ahead with its Reopening Plan for the 2020-2021 school year, which can be found here.

We recognize that, for a number of reasons, students and families may not feel comfortable with in-person learning. Yesterday, the District sent out a form for parents to fill out indicating their choice of learning and transportation for the fall. If you did not receive this form, please contact your building principal. This is due by the end of the day on Wednesday, August 12.

Over the course of the next few weeks, the District will be holding Town Hall forums addressing concerns of community members. The next forum is scheduled for Monday, August 10, at 6:00 p.m. and can be accessed here.
