Skyler Misiaszek is beginning her Girl Scout Gold Award Project “PIT STOP”, which has been approved by the Girl Scout Regional Board. Skyler is starting a Can and Bottle Drive on Monday, August 3 to raise funds to achieve her goal of purchasing at least one set of bleachers for the Maple Hill High School track.
These bleachers will provide a place for elderly and/or physically challenged patrons to sit as they cheer on their Maple Hill Wildcats!
Maple Hill Wildcats or town residents can email Skyler at pkmisiaszek@nycap.rr.com to arrange for a pick-up. She will go to the person’s house, or place of business, to pick up the cans and bottles and deliver them to the recycling center. Participants can also deliver the cans or bottles themselves to The Bottle & Can Company of East Greenbush at 594 Columba Turnpike in East Greenbush. Be sure to let the receiver know that the items are for “PIT STOP”.
