Seniors Brayden Renslow and Seth Roberts were honored at the CAP COM Federal Credit Union Cares Foundation’s Scholarships and Awards Ceremony on June 17, an event celebrating the “community’s best and brightest”.

Brayden was the only student awarded the Technology Scholarship, granted to a student pursuing a degree in computer science or information technology.

Seth was the only student honored with multiple awards, earning a Legacy Scholarship and Making a Difference Award, given to students pursuing an undergraduate degree and students who embody the philosophy of “people helping people,” respectively. A $100 donation will also be made in Seth’s name to Cole’s Crusaders to fight Cystic Fibrosis.

“I am so proud that out of all the schools in the Capital District and among over 500 applicants, Maple Hill students rose to the top above so many others. It was today that I was once again reminded why I teach!” said Teacher Sheila Golden.

Congratulations!
