Maple Hill High School senior Abby Utter has organized a book drive to put new children’s books in the hands of parents with premature babies in New York hospitals.
Her book drive, part of a National Honor Society senior service project, runs through Friday, Feb. 15. The drive supports “Project: Cameron’s Story”, a non-profit organization that supports the bonding of parents with their premature babies in Neonatal Intensive Care Units by providing new books for them to read.
“New books can be dropped off in the collection boxes located at CES, the High School or the District Offices,” said Ms. Utter. “You can also pick up a Scholastic Book Order Form located in the folder attached to the boxes. Thank you so much for supporting this book drive!”
