Update on Superintendent Search Process
The Board of Education would like to update our community about the Superintendent Search process.
The district received 22 applications for the position. The Board reviewed and evaluated each application and selected seven candidates who will be interviewed by a school-community committee. The committee is comprised of teachers, staff, parents representing all three schools, community members, and a student.
Interviews will be held in February with committee members providing information to the Board to help them determine a second round of interviews.
The Board will interview the final candidates in February and expects to appoint a new superintendent by its Apr. 18 meeting. The new superintendent is expected to start July 1.
