Biofeedback is the art and science of training the mind to positively influence the body to lower blood pressure, abort migraine headaches, eliminate pain and increase hand and foot temperature. When we learn to manage our physiology through biofeedback, we can manage ourselves and become more
confident as we face daily challenges. We will discuss basic biofeedback skills and their relationship to the subtle energies of the body. As we come to experience ourselves as electrical powerhouses, not just dense physical matter, we learn how to more effectively direct our subtle energies to consistently perform at more effective levels. We will also be exploring how biofeedback is the science of intention and that learning how to focus how skillfully changing our intentions changes what we experience.
Bethany Gonyea, MS, Former Director of Biofeedback at the Albany TMJ & Facial Pain Center, has been teaching self-mastery skills for almost 20 years, and has been certified by three independent organizations in Biofeedback.
