Graduate Visits School After Finishing Air Force Training

Maple Hill alumnus Trevor Dorward '16 enjoyed an up close tour of the Capital Project on Feb. 3 while visiting the High School. Mr. Dorward recently finished training with the U.S. Air Force and stopped to visit while back on leave before heading to North Carolina.

Red-Kap Provides $500 to Maple Hill High School

Schodack CSD would like to sincerely thank Red-Kap Vice President Jon Kaplan who hand-delivered a $500 check as part of the Educational Alliance Program. "This is the fifth year we've received the donation," said High School Principal Ron Agostinoni. "The money is used to purchase equipment that can be used to enhance learning in Math, Science, and Technology. We are very appreciative of this award."

Graduates Help Students with Transition to College

Maple Hill graduates returned to the High School on Jan. 11 to share their experiences at college as part of an annual panel discussion to help juniors and seniors better prepare for college. "Don't take High School for granted," said Kayla Hanrahan, a freshman at Sacred Heart University. Read more.

The January edition of The Paw Print student newspaper is now available.

New Temporary Entrance for High School

The entrance for MHHS has moved to the old District Office entrance as part of the Capital Project starting Tuesday, Jan. 3. All visitors should use this entrance, where the Main Office, Guidance Office, and Nurse's Office are temporary located. More info.

U.S. Coast Guard Academy Event for Juniors/Parents - Saturday, Mar. 4

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy will hold an Informational Event for juniors and their parents on Saturday, Mar. 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library. Students and parents will have an opportunity to ask admissions staff and active duty Coast Guard members questions about the Academy. More info. Posted 1/27/17.


Honor Rolls8th Annual Hoops Against Hunger - Friday, Mar. 10 at 7:00 p.m.

The 8th Annual Hoops Against Hunger charity basketball game will take place Friday, Mar. 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School gym. Cost is $3 or $2 with a canned good or non-perishable food item. All donations help The Anchor food pantry. More info. Posted 2/17/17.

Schodack Nurses Share Information About the Flu
