Health Office News Society for Women Engineers Event - Saturday, Mar. 25

The Society for Women Engineers will hold an event on Saturday, Mar. 25 from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute featuring panels of professional engineers and students, a workshop on developing an outreach activity, and a teamwork and leadership building workshop. Health Office News Tech Valley HS Sessions - Wednesday, Apr. 11 & Thursday, May 3

Tech Valley High School will host two sessions from the Parent Network of the Capital Region on Wednesday, Apr. 11 and Thursday, May 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Topics include "Helping Your Child with ADHD or Learning Disabilities Improve Performance in Class Work & Homework" and "Anxiety and Depression in School Age Learners". No FluHelp Keep School Healthy by Preventing Flu

Our school nurses would like to remind our community that it is not too late to get a flu shot to help avoid the flu or reduce the severity if you get it. Please also remind children to cover their coughs and sneezes and wash their hands often. If your child gets the flu, please have them stay home for at least 24 hours after their fever is gone. Continuing EducationMaple Hill High School Honored as National Blue Ribbon School

Maple Hill High School was named a 2017 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Dept. of Education on Sept. 28, the only school in the Capital Region and one of just 27 in New York to receive the designation. "This award is a great honor and a credit to the hard work and talent of our dedicated faculty, staff, and administration who work tirelessly on behalf of the students of our community," said Superintendent Jason Chevrier.
