National Junior Honor Society students helped make blankets for organ donors on Mar. 21 to help Donate Life New York State, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing organ, eye and tissue donation.
“Laura and Dave from Donate Life came to speak with the National Junior Honor Society about their work helping people who are going through the organ donation process,” explained Teacher Nichole Brasie. “Dave is a volunteer with the organization who shared with us his experience as an organ recipient and how much it means to him.”
