Schodack CSD wants to offer its heartfelt appreciation to our Facilities Department who went above and beyond this summer by moving all the grade 6-8 classrooms from the former Middle School building while working through the challenges created by Capital Project renovations.

“Our staff always does a great job but they really came together as a Schodack team this past summer, one of the hottest in recent memory,” said Director of Facilities Matt LaClair. “Our team moved 75 classrooms and roughly 315,000 pounds of equipment. They cleaned constantly because of the Capital Project, from washing floors daily to dealing with sheetrock dust. I am so proud of their commitment to making sure Schodack schools are ready for opening of school next week.”
